2017, January, Abu Dhabi, Yoga, Workshop, Master, classes, Scaravelli Inspired, Catherine AnnisI’m delighted to be returning to Abu Dhabi to teach yoga again.

Join me for three days of yoga master classes exploring the pioneering teachings of Vanda Scaravelli and discover the stress free yoga that works with the body to restore health, vitality and energy.

Refining your Yoga : The Art of Intelligent Practice

Have you wondered what you are doing in yoga?

Would you like to learn how yoga can help us
release long held tensions and move with more ease?

If you have an interest in healthy movement and well-being and you’d like to learn how to improve your strength and flexibility, then join me for this series of master classes exploring how our anatomy affects our movement in yoga.

This series of workshops is designed to help us understand and improve our relationship with our bodies, so that we can move with more ease, fluidity and elasticity, both on and off the mat.

Working with simple (and occasionally more complex) postures, we’ll explore how to practice with wisdom and subtlety and look at ways of adapting our practice so that we gradually move more naturally and easily, thereby resolving one of the main questions yoga raises: “how do I become more stable and flexible?”.

This workshop will be helpful for anyone keen to learn more about their anatomy and how to expand their experience of yoga.

Each session will focus on a different aspect of yoga:

  • Develop your own practice – learning to create our own self practice
  • Releasing tension through yoga – finding ways to soften and yield in yoga
  • The Art of Touch – how our sense of touch affects our physical, psychological and emotional relationships on and off the mat

Suitable for all levels

Join us to begin to soften and release any old, unhelpful and habitual patterns.  Learn to move with more ease and fluidity, and enjoy a return to more youthful, supple and enjoyable movement.

Catherine’s daily yoga practice and teaching focuses on deepening physical awareness and alignment to reveal and release the natural freedom of the body, particularly the spine. She holds a Masters degree in ballet studies, and is a qualified Thai massage practitioner, and it is this interest in the body which informs and inspires her teaching.
