Suleyman’s Garden Yoga Retreat

Suleyman's Garden, Turkey, Yoga, Retreat, Huzur Vadisi, Scaravelli, Catherine Annis, Food, Meal, Organic, September, 2015Located on the Southern coast of Turkey, midway between Fethiye and Kalkan, Suleyman’s Garden perches just above a wild rocky beach, with spectacular views of the Mediterranean. It is in a very unspoiled area, on what is known as the ‘Lycian Way’, a marked trail, which is wonderful for walking along the dramatic and mountainous coastline. This wonderfully secluded venue provides a fantastic opportunity for total relaxation, immersion in yoga, with almost guaranteed great weather.

It’s a short walk to the sea where you can swim from rocky coves or you can chill out on the cushion filled decking platform overlooking the Mediterranean and surrounding islands.

Organic Garden & Food

Suleyman's Garden, Turkey, Yoga, Retreat, Huzur Vadisi, Scaravelli, Catherine Annis, Food, Meal, Organic, September, 2015There is something very special about all the locations we choose for our yoga retreats.  Being close to nature and removed from noise and other distractions are key elements at all venues, and Suleyman’s Garden is no exception.

Suleyman, the co-owner of the retreat centre is a gifted farmer, and has created a magical garden, which provides all the food we eat at Suleyman’s Garden.  He’s created a series of terraces, spread across the site, and between the various buildings, where all the food is grown organically, in the same way his predecessors and ancestors have always done in this remote area of Turkey.

Throughout the season, each crop is meticulously tended and pollinated by bees, which produce the excellent honey, for which the area is well known.
