Travelling to the Mill
We have listed below many options on how to get to the Mill Retreat in France.
If you are coming from the South of England, the best option is probably to drive, using either Eurotunnel or the ferry, either at Dover to Calais or from Newhaven to Dieppe, and share the costs with other non-drivers. Alternatively, you can catch the Eurostar.

For the Channel tunnel, Folkestone (www.eurotunnel.com) is 1.5 hours drive from London, typical cost for a return journey for a car (including 4 people) is currently approx £95 return. If you would like to take this option, please contact Catherine, who will be coordinating car sharing.
Ferry options from the UK:
Newhaven to Dieppe is a 4 hour crossing. (Car + 4 travelling is approx £95 return in total). The Mill Retreat centre is located 35 miles east of Dieppe.
Dover to Calais is a 1.5 hour crossing. (Car + 4 travelling is approx £70 return in total). The Mill Retreat centre is located 95 miles south of Calais.

- Once you have arrived in Aumale drive straight through, heading north with the church on your left.
- Follow the signs to InterMarche.
- Cross over a main road and the railway line.
- Once you have passed InterMarche on your right, keep on the main road (ignoring the sign bearing right to Montmarquet).
- The road is signed at this point to Le Treport.
- After less than a mile there is a turning to the right to the ‘Beaucamps’ and immediately after this you will see the Ferme de Breteuil on your left.
- The entrance to the Mill is just before the Farm on the left.
- There is a white sign with Mill Retreat Centre, Moulin de Breteuil painted on it.
- Take the entrance between the white bollards, immediately after the sign and continue down the drive with the farm on your right.
- Through the gates you will find the Mill

Using the London Eurostar:
The easiest and quickest way is to take the Eurostar from St Pancras to Calais (59 minutes). Booking in advance can work out as cheaply as £27.50 each way when booking well in advance.

Once in Calais we can arrange a private mini-bus to collect you and take you directly to Mill Retreat. The 90-minute journey to the Mill costs approx. £25 per person each way for a group.
Or, you can take the Eurostar to Paris-Nord and from there you can get to Aumale using the TER line, changing at Beauvais. The ticket costs approx €25 and the journey takes 2-2.5hrs. There are currently three trains daily:

* Please note. If you are entering France via Dieppe, it is not recommended you take a train to Aumale as the service is very inefficient.
The closest international airports are Beauvais (Paris) and Charles de Gaulle.
UK and Long Haul using Charles de Gaulle Airport:
Easyjet fly from London Luton, Bristol, Liverpool and most of the major European airports (e.g. £46 return Luton to Paris). Other major carriers and many budget airlines (such as flybe.com) also service the major international and transatlantic hubs. Getting to the Retreat Centre from Charles de Gaulle Airport by train:
On arrival to Charles de Gaulle Airport use TGV (Train à Grande Vitesse) to change at Paris Nord to Aumale via Beauvais, e.g. TER 847507 2hrs39 mins ~ see sites www.trains-horaires.com/horaires/recherche

Getting to the Retreat Centre from Charles de Gaulle Airport by hire car:

Using Paris Beauvais Airport
Ryanair is the major budget airline flying to Paris Beauvais. In terms of European destinations they currently provide a service to and from Glasgow, Dublin, Shannon, Barcelona, Marseille, Bremen, Milan, Pisa, Rome, Venice, Oporto, Alicante, Girona, Madrid and Stockholm.
Getting to the Retreat Centre from Beauvais airport by train:
There is a shuttle between the airport and the train station, it costs €4 per person and takes 15 minutes. From the station you can get to Aumale direct in 53 mins.
