Yoga Weekend
Florence House, East Sussex, 12th - 14th April 2013
From £345

Florence House is one of our favourite venues, sitting high on the brow of Seaford Head, blustered by the sea air in a windblown and wild landscape. A real haven, with really delicious food (everyone always comments on it), cosy rooms and a huge yoga space, it feels like staying with a favourite uncle in his country pile. Just two minutes from the coast, there are fabulous cliffside walks along to Birling Gap, or you can take a stroll along the beach. The bravest could even swim ...

Location
London is only two hours away and Brighton a 30 min car journey. The wonderful coastal path leading to the Seven Sisters Country Park and the unspoilt beach are both a short distance away.

"Thank you so much! It was a wonderful weekend which I found so nourishing. Learning so much from you about finding spaces in the body was lovely and I left feeling free in mind and body."
Camilla Keates, Pilates Foundation Teacher

Yoga with Catherine Annis

The yoga Catherine teaches has been inspired by the pioneering approach of Vanda Scaravelli. It's a gentle yet demanding form of Hatha yoga, which concentrates on developing core strength through releasing tension and creating length in the spine. It uses the breath and gravity to allow the spine to unfold like a wave, allowing the uninhibited opening and energising of the whole body.
